New Phones for This Year
Mobile phone lovers can also enjoy 2011 as mobile phone companies release their new line of products. Recently, it was announced that Bell Canada will release the LG Optimus Chic Android smartphone starting January 14, 2011. As a teaser, the LG Optimus Chic is jam packed with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera, HSPA+support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a DLNA support and a microSD card
slot. The phone is powered by the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Another one that was announced to be released this year is the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc. Super slim and light, Xperia arc is only 8.7 mm at its thinnest part and has an extra wide 4.2” multi-touch screen. Created from premium materials and with a stunning arc body, this smartphone is sleek, strong and designed to fit perfectly in the user’s hand. It is also possible to capture high quality, bright pictures, and HD videos even in low light. All pictures and videos can be shared in HD on any television via the built in HDMI-connector, and of course, the normal features like calling, texting, chatting, and applications are still intact.
